It is a craft cider as the juice conentrate was pressed from cider apples specifically for the home brewer. Thanks for the info

I left mine in the carboy over the lees for 60 days, the smell went away and was very good... however when I bottled it I used some conditioning tabs that contained malt extract.. not sure what it will taste like when I drink it, but I will let you know.

I have gone to jay's and he was helpful. I visited one on patrick Henry drive of of rt 7 and they were awesome huge huge selection of everything! I too live in stafford but will drive there anytime i need supplies. The staff was knowledgable and extremely friendly

Why not use alcohol sugar like xlitol? it wont restart fermentation... also splenda should not either.... or is adding frozen apple juice concentrate a better option?
after placing my juice in the fermentor, I add the yeast without making a starter... have had great success in the fermenting process with rolling bubbles within 24 hours..
