Just left the alchemist. Am now stacked with 54 cans but wasn't able to get my hands on any good info. Noticed that one fermenter had a temp of 56 on it but we knew that already. Anyway, needless to say I will be studying the taste of this beer tonight...
I harvested some yeast from a can and am in the process of stepping it up. It looks great, but i have never done this before so I want to make sure it is not contaminated before using it. Should I just do a taste / smell test? Anything particular to look out for?
Is a 62qt cooler too big for 5 gallon batches? Is it big enough for 10 gallon batches? Anyone have a hard time making a mlt from a Coleman extreme cooler with wheels?
That's what I was thinking, but do you think I could get enough out of one can? I have never harvested yeast before so please excuse if its a dumb question
Just got a fresh heady in the mail today - my first one ever. I have never been so excited to try a beer. Should I drink it from the can or from a glass? I know what the instructions say, but I almost want to see it as much as I want to drink it...
