Listed on Craiglist, but no bites. Figured here would be a better target group than the masses!

Note: I'm selling this because I recently upgraded to an RO water system.

For the past couple of years, I've racked my fermented beer from my SS BrewTech Brew Bucket into my CO2-purged keg simply by letting gravity do the work. I normally remove the stopper from the top of the fermenter, which, of course, draws in oxygen as the liquid drains into the keg. So I decided...
Mark the drill chuck with a piece of masking tape or something, then adjust accordingly until you watch it go around roughly 3x per second = 180 rpm.
I used to be a DJ, so counting "180 BPM" is pretty natural for me.
Or, you could just play one of these songs and have the drill spin to the...
Nice build!
Personally, I'm very limited on space and don't like the idea of an exposed belt.
So I built this custom board and use an adjustable zip-tie wrap thing to keep my drill running at the preferred speed.
Did it a few weeks ago for my first all-grain brew.
Reviving old thread just to chime in and say that after brewing about 10 batches with Safale US-05 so far, this past weekend, I did exactly this (used Spring Water) and for the first time ever, I saw activity in under 12 hours -- a new record.
Details: I boiled had 400ml of water in my Pyrex...
Hi all,
I am selling my 9-gallon stainless steel brew kettle which is wired for 220V electric brewing. Used less than 10 times.
I have moved on to all-grain BIAB and already have a larger kettle, so this one is no longer needed.
Something like this off-the-shelf would cost hundreds more, or...
Appreciate the updates as I am following this thread closely (subscribed!).
I used my pump for the first time this past weekend. Clamp was hand-tightened. Ran a test/clean with PBW, no probs or leaks. Ran again with clean water rinse, no probs. Finally, after brew was done (MoreBeer's "Cali...
This. My last batch was a Citra IPA (extract kit from MoreBeer). I dry-hopped for 4 days in the keg before applying C02 and it too had a grassy/vegetal taste. But it started to dissipate over time. By week two, it was acceptable (to me), and by week four, it was superb -- all grassy/vegetal...
Yes, because I've already lost mine! When Blichmann Support sent me a new rear casing for the impeller, they included an extra o-ring and washer.
I will be buying at least 5-10 spare washers for sure (as well as some o-rings and retainer clips)...
220V. Takes about 20 minutes to bring ground temp water to full boil.
You can see details of my setup here (note: this is from last year and I've made quite a few changes/improvements since).

I bought mine in person at MoreBeer Riverside on July 22. They didn't have any in-store, so they shipped it instead. Got it about 2 days later.
On my first test, I hand-tightened the clamp (this is my first experience with a TC clamp, so don't know how tight they need to be). Needless to say...
