So I received the package that had been cancelled in February and yep they screwed it up too. I had ordered 3 beers worth of grains, a carboy cleaner and some other miscellaneous stuff. So what came in the 4" square box? 1 pound of naked oats and some PH strips. I am in total shock at the...
I received an e-mail today that my order has shipped. Only problem is I ordered it in January and cancelled it in February. I didn't follow up with my credit card, but it doesn't look like they ever cancelled it, as I requested. Of course I hadn't heard anything from them in the 2 1/2 months...
I followed Biermuncher's recipe below and used Myer Lemons instead of the oranges and used WLP400 for the yeast.

Just cancelled my order. Placed it on 1/20 and ordered a couple of beers to brew for St Patty's day. I'll be going local to try and get something to brew for it now. My local store doesn't carry all the grains I like to use, but a month of waiting is way to long. 2 days after placing my...
I'm interested in getting in on a group buy. I also live in North Central Phoenix and haven't joined one of the homebrew clubs do to their locations. Would love to see one get started around us.
I would oak first, add the coffee when bottling. Vanilla will depend, if you are using beans then I would add them after oaking but before bottling. If you are adding extract then add it with the coffee at bottling.
Excellent work! Only thing I would like to see would be the final ending or total (mash + sparge) water profile for the batch to go along with the final mash water profile that is already there. I like to see where all my numbers finish up but if I enable the CAs04 and CACL to replace chalk &...
I do that all the time. I can only get about 5 gallons to boil on my stove. I usually end up topping off with 1.25 to 1.5 gallons of water to get to 5.25 total gallons in my carboy. I still end up about 70% efficiency. I do wonder how good my efficiency would be if I could boil it all and...
Voted for Biermuncher. Love his OctoberFast and Your WitNess and currently have Centennial Blonde, Ode to Arthur, and Outer Limits IPA on Tap. Cream of Three Crops is kegged and ready to go too.
