Still don't like it. I scraped it off, too.

I used it for the first time today. I agree with itsratso, it's difficult to regulate, at least this first time. I was able to dial it in eventually and it burns very hot. I was able to keep a rigorous boil easily. I don't like at all that the paint burned off.

Thanks guys, I feel better about my spot. The wall is not flammable :) I plan to keep the burner in my basement when it's not being used.

Wasn't sure if the wall counted as a structure or not, to be honest.

30lbs! That's a crap ton of six pack holders.

We decided on Beauxmont's Brewery though we're still working on a logo. Beauxmont was the nickname my wife and I used for my son while he was in utero. I also barrel-aged whisky from New Year's Eve until the week he was born in May and called it Beauxmont's Batch. Surprisingly good.

We made our first labels for beer that we're giving to friends and neighbors for the holidays.

Let's do it.

I want to freeze it in my chest freezer, which sits at around -10°F normally.
