    Brewed a batch of this on Saturday. Finished perfect with a 1.040 og and yielded 5 gallons. Apparently the yeast were very hungry and happy with my wort. The yeast went on on ferment frenzy and blew the lid off the bucket and decided the floor was a supple environment for krausen to relax...

    Don't use a Refractometer for FG readings. Your beers didn't stall at 1.024.

    I use my refract. Easier, less wasted beer and don't risk infection by pouring sample back into conical. Readings are close enough for the girls I go with!

    Final Gravity Question for Honey Ale

    My batch is still fermenting for sure. Gonna continue to wait. Fermented in primary for seven days. Now secondary for 18 days. Ferment temperature is 68 degrees thru the duration of ferm. Still have airlock activity.
