How Many Gallons Brewed in 2023

NEVER! But here ya go. I will say, pay no heed to water profile if you think you can do better. Just starting to get serious with it myself after 14 years.

How Many Gallons Brewed in 2023

Yeah, I know right. On a BZ G4 so only so much space, still hit 1.072 of the estimated 1.078. Pretty happy considering the limitations of AiO and it was my first high abv batch. Plenty of individual problems popped up, like Brewfather having **** timers.... OH AND MY CHILLER GOT CRIMPED IN MY...

how often does a beer make ZERO krausen?!?

Transferred my last batch onto the cake from a previous S04 batch and missed the krausen completely. Can definitely see other signs of it having fermented, but yeah, krausen came and went in the dead of night I guess

    Yeast for 7% Chocolate Stout

My go to ale yeast for most of what I do in the ale space is 1318- London 3. White Lab equivalent would be London fog, if you can't find either, there's also Imperial Juice or the Verdant IPA. The Haze Craze mad this strain both easier and harder to find, but it's been my go to do awhile and...

    How often are you brewing?

And having have had friends that work Dispatch/ 911 ops and logistics, I think I have the easier job. I'm all packed out for the 10+ day runs doing disaster response that I sign up for every year. The money is good and all, I love helping people, but ultimately it keeps me from being...

    How often are you brewing?

And, what's your work life like? Currently I brew mostly once a week, sometimes I brew back to back on my weekends, but that requires more planning and logistics than I end up doing. For work, I'm doing 42.5 hour work weeks in State Law Enforcement, so that 42.5 sometimes turns into 85 with...

    So who's brewing this weekend?

I got lazy and moved my back to back next week. I'm currently heating my strike water on my reworked strong bitter though, so not a total lazy weekend

Sack of Pilsner 35lbs of various specialty malts 1.5lbs of hops that were on sale that I didn't really need Some airlocks because I'm constantly losing them Spunding valve Floating DipTube Voss and Us-05 because I forgot I don't actually need to buy yeast for about a year And as always, a...

    Head count of active homebrewers

I never got to brew on one. I went from a single vessel biab to a Brewzilla 35l. Wouldn't mind going through a brew day on one just to see what it's like, but I wouldn't want to deal with the logistics of having it in my house. AiO is so convenient

    Lazy Brewzilla chilling

That's an option I hadn't really thought of.

    Lazy Brewzilla chilling

Having never used a Hydra, I can assure you, you're probably blowing my times out of the water. It's the WP attachment for sure. It's not a huge discrepancy, so if I make something hoppy as heck, I'll probably use the recirc arm into the hop spider while chilling/ in a hopstand situation
