Was thinking of trying a single decoction this weekend on a Rothaus Pils clone. My main brew vessel is a 65L Brewzilla Gen 4, but I also have my old 3.1 35L that I have been just using for a HLT. Just trying to think this all through: if I use the 35L for boiling the decoction, would I use...

I use both ICs from my Brew Zilla 65 and 35 together in the 65 with 2 y adapters. I had just bought a Jaded copper IC and then read up about copper/stainless with LODO.....didn't want to spend more money on a stainless IC. Seems to work well for me

Christmas came early!

Shout out to Williams Brewing. I emailed them and explained the situation and they immediately sent out a new malt pipe and bottom screen, even though they were unaware of these apparent defective malt pipes. Kegland should let these retailers know they exist and are being sold.

I just emailed the retailer I bought it from and explained the situation with the mash pipe/screen. Will see what happens.....

I put the malt pipe and screen in right after I filled the unit with water and made sure it was seated. I was careful to not to lift too quickly, but it pretty much just let loose after the first or second "click" on the rope ratchet. I have the 65l version.

I even had my new pulley system in place and the on first pull, the screen let loose. Was expecting a little bit more of a fight😛

Same thing happened to me on Sunday. I think I may have had the screen upside down?
