Last of the St. Nick's Ale - taking so long because I left the dry hops in too long, and it's very bitter. Also, my RIS is about 8 months old - I sample one every now and then, and it's doing well. Preparing to make a kolsch.

I've done this a couple of times, making sure the strings were securely tied, and both times the muslin bag came out without a problem. Granted, I had to pull slowly to squeeze them out (without leaking everywhere), and it felt like they weren't going to make it, but strong, steady pressure did...
