    Spike brewing CF5 accessories

From spike the only thing I would get is the Manifold and the Racking arm personally. The manifold could be sourced cheaper but owning a few different ones I like spikes. There are a few ways to set up closed transfers. Here is what I do for heavily hopped beers. I use the Co2 from...

Anyone have one of these filters?

I use this on a 7bbl kit and its works for that. It is massive for homebrew scale. what size batches are you doing? The mesh filters on these are quite fine as well and will clog. You can make a filter using a Vacmotion filter and two screw in tc to npt fittings for about $50 that would scale...

Brulosophy expert can't tell a Blonde Ale made with straight RO from RO plus minerals

The story often starts with eyebrow raised at glaring off flavor with feelings of disappointment at dropping $6 on a pint of homebrew. The story finishes with me wishing I had just bought a $9-$12 6 pack of pilsner urquell or saison dupont at the store.

Brulosophy expert can't tell a Blonde Ale made with straight RO from RO plus minerals

I regularly leave unfinished beers, more than I could count. Beer is about the enjoyment of the flavors and craft I'm rarely drinking for the buzz when I'm out which is the only reason to drink meh beer. If a beer isn't well done I would rather spend the calories on something enjoyed.

This hurts my eyes to read. Bad beer exists, it is very real and it flows from the bottles and taps of home and craft breweries all over this fine country.

***NEW PRODUCT*** The Yeast Brink from Nor Cal Brewing Solutions

I have used the 3" and the smaller canning jar one. The canning jar one is a pretty big hazard to put under pressure imo. I had the jar shoot off the band a couple times and wont use it anymore.

    If you could start over...

120v heating times wont be as much of an issue if you are doing 2.5 gallons.

***NEW PRODUCT*** The Yeast Brink from Nor Cal Brewing Solutions

I my experience these guys will never work well for heavy dry hopping. They just can't hold enough soaked and expanded pellets. 3oz is the most I have used without it being an hour long affair to get them in the conical. To use the harvester to inject standard IPA hop bills its an all day...

    If you could start over...

I have owned just about every variation of equipment and currently run a 3v electric setup. If I were starting over knowing what I know now I would start out with a single vessel system. I am a firm believer in buy once cry once if budget allows. Based on your desire to do 2.5 gallon batches...
