I made a peach wheat awhile back. I bought 3 pounds of fresh peaches, sliced them thin, and baked for 30 minutes to soften them up. I put them in a hop bag and threw in for 15 min left in boil. Came out really good. I've had success with frozen fruit also. That's the first time I went the fresh...
I rarely brew alone. It's mostly me and my younger brother. Sometimes a friend or two. It's nice to have help cleaning and a extra set of hands. Makes for a less frustrating brew day. We always have the grill going too cause we're fat kids.
I've done the opposite of that (well kinda). I put a few homebrews in my golf bag to sneak into the golf course. Once we're out on the course I throw them in the cooler. Well, I forgot to put one in. It stayed in a hot golf bag for weeks. Next time I played about a month later I found it. Sad...
I invite people over on brew day and they always see the bucket of sanitizer and ask "is that the beer?" either that or everything stinks to them (mash, boil, hops etc)
After pouring a beer I rinse and spray with starsan. (i keep some in a spray bottle) then I put it on the bottle rack to dry. When the bottle rack gets full of sanitized bottles I store then in bins to keep the dust off of them. Bottling day I bottle, all the work was done previously.
