    Yeast preference poll

    I mainly use Whie Labs, and it works just fine. I do have a question though. White Labs has a brochure they put out with all of their yeast and a little description for each one. They then put something called "Attentuation" and "Flocculation" Anyone know what this means? For example...

    We primed the whole batch at once...pretty sure they were "crown caps". We tried a Sam Adams bottle...it worked out fine. We tried a Bass bottle...it worked out fine. And lastly, we tried a generic brown bottle that came with our kit...it worked out fine. The only difference we could see was...

    Anyone else have problems with Fat Tire bottles? Just tasted my second batch, and did some experimenting, and the Fat Tire bottles are not done, and all the rest of them are....anyone else have this problem???? Got to go...working on cooling a wort. :D

    First time Brewer

    Here's a question then concerning the primary... Most of the time (if not all the time) beer should be kept in the primary for only about a week, but can be left in the secondary (depending on the recipe, or preference) for as long as you like...is that correct????? Thanks for your help :)
