my mash does the same thing, over time mine will go away and some beers i dont see it at all. its not a big deal, slow down your recirculation some and see if that helps at all. Iv been running mine for about a year now and never notice any flavoring it produces
craigslist or find a used appliance store locally. I picked up a fridge for $150 that i can put 8 kegs in. Good deals are out there just takes time searching for them
take a gravity reading and if it has dropped out like normal it is fine. looks like one of my stouts so i turned it into a sour stout. add a pack of lactobacallus and let it sit for a few months. as long as gravity dropped its a healthy strain of bacteria.
Buy a good hose, I have a heavy duty Goodyear hose and it's great. It's all what you want out of it, I rather spend the extra money up front then having to fix it later
I have a blickman 15 gallon and works like a champ. When yeast dies out and ready to dump crack the bottom valve and drain little and repeat for a few days. Overall looks like it will do the job.
