Was thinking about maybe knocking up a strawberry cider brew for the summer. Ive made my own lager before and it came out fine but im unsure as to how to go about making this? As i can only get a standard cider mix for brewing, any ideas guys? Would be appreciated!

Yep I will do, it must be nearly ready as it was 1.011 on Monday, ill do another Friday and see.
Looking like its gonna be a weak lager, but hey aslong as it does the job :)
Thanks for a quick reply progmac, took a gravity reading today and it read 1.011, is that not still abit high?
Was thinking of waiting till Sunday so it'll have been 3 weeks and then just bottling it all? mega worried about bottle bombing!!
Panicking about possible infection!
Any ideas?
Smells a little vinegary, tastes somewhat like beer and is strong lol
It's my first ever attempt at homebrew and its coopers lager mixture! It's been exactly 17 days into primary fermentation.
I've been brewing my first ever batch of lager for the past 15 days, I bought the coopers lager mix and did everything by the book.
It's gravity reading is at 1.011 at the moment, but after 15 days will it still be fermenting? Beginning to think its gone wrong somewhere as my brothers was ready...
Wow I didn't realise I had to that to be honest with you!
What would be the ideal volumes for most lagers? Aslong as it doesn't end up flat any measurement would be fine for me!
SO MUCH STUFF TO TAKE IN!!! :)
Thanks for the advice, keg looks easier to do I must admit, just for syphoning reasons :) any idea how I'd go on with priming? Keep reading that its good to use around a teaspoon of sugar per bottle?
Hey brewers :)
Quick question for you all as I'm a complete newbie at brewing!
My first ever batch of lager is almost ready to syphon off into whatever is best to be put in, which is we're I'm stuck as to which is best?
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks
Ouch we're not quite that cold! Was about 8-9 Celsius today I think.
Feels like I've got so much to take in about brewing! Dropped the temp to 20 for the moment be nice to say my first batch was a good one, only time will tell!
I just got the lager mix from wilkinsons, and followed instructions from there, never thought of getting the fosters recipe up and trying that.
Suppose ill learn from my mistakes!
