Most of the bands listed throughout this forum I'm also into but as I was skimming over the previous 6 pages I didn't notice any love for The National? Any fans of The National out there? They have a new album dropping later this month and I'm going to see them in June. Can't wait for that...
Except he wasnt pitching any ideas. Just asking some gentle questions that a ton of people have asked before. Is it a hard industry to get into? yes. Impossible? no. Lighten Up!!!
The deliriums never did it for me. I only finally got into belgians after trying an assortment of Unibroue. Still some of my favorites and made me fall in love with the style.
Its not the quality I have an issue of. Its the same across pretty much every industry. A handful of companies release items under different names to try to fool people into thinking it isnt the big company. Im not sure anyones try to argue that BMC doesnt make product exactly as they want it to...
I think BMC has the capabilities of making decent beer, I actually dont mind Blue Moon if its one of the few draft choices up there. They tend not to make beer in the styles I like though and even if I did I would probably support the little guy over the big. I worked for a smaller beer...

Thanks so much for the replies everyone. I think Im gonna experiment a lot at least at first and then maybe try perfecting a recipe. Just trying to learn everything all at once though I know its impossible. Got a pale ale going right now then I think Ill try a porter and kind of go from there.
I agree i definitely want the variety. I think if I really continue with this Ill get another bucket so I can make two at a time, one different beer and maybe perfecting a recipe with the other. The hardest part about this is not going out and spending all my money on new equipment. I just want...
So Im new here, ive been snooping around for quite a while and i finally upgraded my mr beer to a 6 gallon bucket. I just wanted to know if there was a general consensus on making the same beers over and over to really perfect the beer or making a ton of different recipes?
