    My First Attempt At Growing Hops.

    I vote for “let it grow”. At least for the first year. Second too, if the plant is struggling. A strong plant (grown in the ground) should throw more shoots than you can train by years two/three. Then you will need to start making choices on bull shoots. Growing in buckets could limit...

    Planted hops today

    Not sure if current practice has changed but when I planted rhizomes the general consensus seemed to be let all the shoots grow in year one. It should help the plant get established for strength in future years. Good luck and enjoy,
