HOWTO - Make a BrewPi Fermentation Controller For Cheap

I need to update the brewpi software to legacy as well? I thought the main issue was that current brewpi wasn't able to flash the arduino with the new hex and xloader got around that? Update/edit: Now it's saying that it can't get the version number from the controller. Tried following the...

HOWTO - Make a BrewPi Fermentation Controller For Cheap

I am trying to set up my controller, but am having trouble flashing the hex file to the arduino. I have gone through the web interface, selected the hex file, and hit program. Lager bubbling after 7 weeks...

I made a lager 7 weeks ago. Had it in primary @ 45F for 3 weeks and then moved it to a secondary @ 35F for 4 weeks. The last week or so it has started bubbling again, but I was getting ready to bottle it tonight. Should I let it go longer or just go ahead and bottle it? It doesn't appear to be...

First Lager - Few Temperature Control Questions

Well found some answers after more searching. http://hbd.org/discus/messages/34426/36272.html http://www.homebrewersassociation.org/forum/index.php?topic=13984.0 Not much discussion on this topic as far as I can find, so I guess it hasn't really been much of an issue for most.

First Lager - Few Temperature Control Questions

Snisup, thanks for the response. I have already found and adjusted the differential temperature you mention and have it set at 2F. The problem seems to be that the freezer refrigerant continues to cool the chamber after the temp controller has shut the compressor off. So the system shuts off...

I was recently able to get a nice deal on a chest freezer that is perfect size for a carboy/bucket and still has a good amount of space for some bottles or other things. Right away I snagged a Johnson temperature controller off Amazon -...
