So, handed my bug to a very talented, former commercial, brewer friend. He used it to make ginger bug moonshine. On the first stage he took it to 16%!!!!!! This is a very controlled environment but I was totally shocked.....as was he.
As an addition to our kegerator we now have 2 * 10l kegs too. I have simply removed the platform and mounted the 4 way manifold on the inside of the fridge door. Some fun with cable ties and some swearing got it to work well. We can now have 2 * 10l and 2 * 5l for party seasons (Christmas...
My set up is CO2 through regulator into hose outside the fridge. Inside the fridge I have a 4 way manifold into 4 hoses with standard gas ball lock. Not sure what you mean by adapter as the posts are the same posts that are used on the corny kegs.
Got to jump in here. I have regularly brewed to 6.5% with ginger bug. I live in Thailand but hibernate my bug between brews at 3c. I tend to bring it out the day before pitching and feed it once. I pitch about 10ml per litre of well mixed liquid to get the yeast up off the floor of my container...
Hi guys. I finally got round to posting my 4*5l mini keg kegerator solution. Hope this is of interest to you. Happy to answer any questions.

So many reasons why. Starting with it being myself and my wife for 90% of the drinking and we don't drink all the time. Also because I like the small batch brewing style, I work in my kitchen most days and I can produce new beers alongside my other work with relative ease. Thirdly I wanted a...
I believe that jseyfert3 has answered almost all of this for us. I am just getting started on my journey too. My set up, at present, is CO2 -> Mini Regulator -> Keg via ball lock on the dispenser you have. If you unclip the CO2 cartridge adapter you have now you should be able to push on a gas...
What a superb reply. Thank you. Something to build towards. For this Christmas (what I am brewing towards) I should be OK with what I have but the downstream regulators are now on my todoist to get a bit more knowledge on.
Great post!
Hiya. Interested in this. I have a CO2 2.5kg tank attached to these through a mini regulator. I am also curious as to how well this setup will handle a splitter to 3 * 5l
Following but also happy for us to share our own findings with each other as we progress.
