My favorite, and just like when young, I would build model ships and at the end there was a bunch of important stuff left over. I get done brewing and my Wife says "What is all this?" I had already buttoned up everything and had dreams of bubbling. Oh.....that was the yeast not pitched she was...
Brewed 20 gallons during a double batch day. Drinking the whole time (allegedly). Got everything cleaned up and in the fermenters. Watching TV and my Wife asked "What's this stuff left on the counter?"
Oh ya, that would be all the yeast I never put in. Everything turned out fine.
First time brewing in nearly two years.
10 gal of a Citra Pale Ale. Easiest Brewday I can remember in +50 batches.
Won't let my equipment sit that long again.
Pitched two different yeasts in 5 gal ferms and they are bubbling away!
After building my dream 10 gallon AG setup with pump and plate chiller I didn't brew on it for way over year.
Today a Citra PA and I took extra care taking time with my mash tun.
Should be great after some dry hopping and drinking.
I love Beer.
On Feb 4th I brewed up
10 gallons of his Bavarian Hefe
10 gallons of his Kolsch
5 gallons of the Apfelwein.
Transferring 5 gallons of Hefe to a keg today and after checking everything the Apfelwein is still chugging away.
Sweet! :mug:
Going down from Seattle for this for the third straight year. Hit and miss on the bus stuff. We are walkers and have traversed most of the city. My wife knows I love Brew and that is why we go. Widmer is always a great tour. Last year was some amazing beer and a glass at the end. Not bad for...
Awesome Congrats! We have several start ups here in Seattle that have grown and expanded greatly over the last two years. Especially the giant plate chiller they now have and to see the tiny 30 plate I just got I mail. Wamp. Just to walk through the initial brewery and to see where they have...
Dearest Name Callers and The Uninformed,

I...
Let's see Austinhomebrew, this order is months old and now you want to tell me YOU credited the wrong Gift Certificate and sent me my order and now want $35. Right. This is an example of really poor business ethics. Austin Homebrew this sounds like your internal accounting problem/mistake and...
