    As far as the wait time between opening the Tank valve and the Burner Valve, You are correct you should wait. the safety valve needs to see pressure on both sides. If not it shuts down thinking there is a free flow happening IE. burst hose. My Mosquito Magnet had a tool to reset it manually...

    Stout tastes watery at bottling

    I brewed a whiskey barrel stout from kit. I don't remember who's it was. It tasted thin at bottling, I had problems with carbonation after bottling I had a few that did carbonate properly. Wow! what a difference in mouthfeel! I'd go with that. wait and see.

    Air Lock Blew Off Overnight

    +1 on "no pics" never happened.. Need to verify the Carnage.. and and realize I don't have to clean it up. wonder about my fermentation temps, worry it's infected, search for a swamp cooler. verify my thermometer's accuracy, curse the aquarium tape glued to the side of my bucket.

    Bourbon Barrel Staves

    How's it going to fit in the Keg? Those Soda Kegs with the removable tops Sanke?? is that the term? I'd cut them down and split them into chunks, paint strainer bag suspended in primary.

    see what your gravity is supposed to be after the boil. If it was me.if it's too high i'd add boiled or bottled water

    single tier brew stand propane lines

    I don't think the safety valve is in the regulator. The Tanks have a free-flow limiter. may need to buddy up another tank to split the flow from the tank valves. Put 2 gauges up and downstream and run the system again, see where the psi drops.

    Beer not bubbling 48 hours later!!

    I've been lucky with the lids, I did foul up with the three piece airlock, Not enough liquid and it looked good but wouldn't bubble, tweaked me for a day or two then added more vodka and a bubbling away it went. DUH!

    The cooling coils are typically spray-foamed in the shellwith the inner liner set in place, the foam sticks to everything like urethane glue.
