    Odd results from Coopers?

    I did boil the DME for an hour, mistakenly thinking that it needs to boil even after hot break. It wasn't until recently I figured out that the full hour boil isn't necessary. The coopers and honey weren't added until the very end. I'm thinking it's the old DME that probably darkened it...
