Will having the lid partially on risk DMS? And can you use a heat stick in addition to induction? I have a heavy duty all be it 1800 watt induction burner. Can't go to 3500 yet. I got 6.5 gallons to a full boil with the lid on but tiny boil lid off and just enough with lid half way on.

What do you all use under your pots? Tile? Metal? I know it takes a lot to burn wood just wondering if you have a suggestion as to what to make my tops of my 3 tier gravity set up.

That's way cheaper than any other controller on the market. I think high gravity sells one for $250. Wonder why it's so much more cheap.

Is the dragon controller hard to put together? Does it come with instructions? I've successfully wired an stc-1000 and stir plate but beyond that I'm done. I'll have my electrician come and put in a dedicated 240 outlet next to the breaker since I brew in my garage.

I have been obsessing over the boil coils. I am not electric handy so I rather buy the coils. I'm a simple brewer so it will always be 5 gallons batch sparging. Going with the 120v 2250 amp versions. My questions:

So I am force carbing 2 beers on co2. An ipa and Trappist tripel. I just didn't have the time to bottle the tripel. I carbed them so they would come out 2.3 per volume. 1 regulator. Ipa is great but the tripel seems flat. Plenty of co2 no leaks and been a few weeks.
