    Keg System

I pieced mine together from different locations because of what I was looking to do. I wanted a 2 tap tower for a keezer bar I was building. I couldn't find a complete system that had everything I was looking for

    Any tips for brewing IPAs?

I've had pretty good luck making them- although I only do extract, not all grain. I typically only dry hop for about 5 days. I've heard more than that can cause off flavors. I have had the occasional IPA that tasted very bitter out the gate, but then mellowed, and turned out pretty good. Was...

Minimum necessary to keg homebrew for a friend's party (requires traveling)?

If you have keg/Co2 tank you've got the expensive stuff already. Assuming CO2 has regulator? If so, all you need is gas line, and appropriate gas connector for style keg you've got (likely either ball lock or pin lock). Be sure to have clamps to prevent leaks. Similarly, you'll need...

    Confessions...My beer doesnt taste good

I only do extract beers. I have made several that I would say not only rival commercial beers, but surpass them. Like anyone, I've had some duds too. Similar to what others have said, there are ways you can try to improve, or at least eliminate things that are causing the issues...

    What's in your fermenter(s)?

Pliney the Elder clone. Brewed on Friday, OG 1.083- California yeast took off like rocket- about 8 inches of Krausen. Also have 6 gallons of Sauvignon Blanc in secondary

    Stuck fermentation help

Did you aerate it? I haven't moved to oxygen, but I shake/roll it. I have seen differences based on how good I am at that. Seems almost like yeast were not strong enough to finish the job based on what you are saying.

    My keezer build

You can't tell in pictures- but the entire back is open. The freezer has a vent on the right side, I cut the wood to match this vent. I left the back open as it is a now 12 yr old freezer. All I will need to do is remove the 2x4 in back, the 4 carriage bolts holding top on, and drill matching...

    My keezer build

New to the group. Just posting the keezer I built as I know I was looking for a lot of ideas when I built mine- hopes it helps/inspires others. I had an old chest freezer (10yrs old) that wasn't being used. It was a little beat up- so I wanted to hide the freezer, but allow for it to to be...

    Keg Leaking at Collar

Good to know. More I look at it- I can't see actual leak- but was bubbling at seam of keg and rubber collar, so most likely will just scrap this one, and get new one.

    Keg Leaking at Collar

I noticed I had a leak on my ball lock keg. As determining where the leak was, determined first it was a bad ring on the gas post. After I fixed that, I could still hear a leak. I used Starsan to spray connections/tank(which works great for finding minor co2 leaks by the way). The leak is...
