Just bottled the amber ale from three weeks ago, OG- 1.054 and FG 1.009 for 5.9% abv... Also weighed out the grain bill for ten gallons of Marzen for next week's brew day 🤩
Going all grain was a light year ahead in terms of quality in my brews! I remember reading a quote on this site that said "You can brew good beer with extract. You can craft excellent beer with all grain."
Also temp control for better fermentation... I only use a swamp cooler but it's a vast...
My favorites are pale ales and reds but my brother and I make a Westvleteren 12 clone that is simply amazing 😍

I normally keep #25 of two base malts and #1-5 of adjuncts and such. A few varieties of hops at 2-4ozs each... That's normally what I have. But a couple years ago I found out my local brew store was going out of business so I WAAAY overbought on supplies! I'm just now getting my overstock down...
