HELP! Homebrew emergency happening RIGHT NOW!

When you say loosen the lid, do you mean remove it from being completely sealed and then just have it rest on top of the bucket loosely? Krausen started going up the airlock again so I think I am going to have to do this. When should I reconnect the lid?

HELP! Homebrew emergency happening RIGHT NOW!

I just poured a bunch out. I removed the airlock in the bath tub and let a whole bunch out without actually removing the lid. I think this should stop it from blowing and I am working on bringing the temperature down with a fan and some wet towles. Busy freezing up some waterbottles for tomorow...

HELP! Homebrew emergency happening RIGHT NOW!

Ok, I didnt have a tube. Ive cleaned off the top of the lid using sanitied water then ive carefully removed the airlock. I then put a sanitixed glass upside down over the whole so nothing went in. Sanitized the airlock and replaced? I feel the issue has to do with temperature. Today was a...

    Secondaey Fermentation

Thanks very much, I will actually be bottling straight out of my Coopers mini brewery, so can i just add the sugar water to the main tank? And I had a look at that calculator, thats a bit too complicated for me honestly as I dont know what to put in for desired level of Co2. How do I know how...

    Secondaey Fermentation

    Beer looks wierd

Hey guys, the top of this beer looks a bit weird, the beer is wheat beer, the coopers brand but it has what looks like yeast sitting on the top. This is my first brew in this take, it was a bit tough getting the yeast in with such a small opening, and the bubbler on top is going non stop...

    Bottling

Is it cool to bottle into these? I got them from a plastic distributor near me. They're 1l and made food grade as far as I'm aware. I got 22 of them for less than 1/3rd the price i was paying for 48 glass bottles. Thanks http://www.recyclethis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2006/06/milk_bottle250.jpg
