    at second addition of sugar, used a juicer this year and pulp was forced out all at once about 5 min after this pic was taken. blow off tube didn't cut it!

    ec-1118 is a monster! I find adding the sugar in two steps instead of bombing it all at once gives a more desirable result.

    I've been making mead for several years now, and this is the only recipe I have tried that is not harsh right after coming out of the secondary. Try this recipe and you won't be disappointed. Joe's quick grape rocks.
