    Chicago Suburbs CO2 Tank Recertification

I have a couple co2 tanks that certifications have expired. Normally get tanks refilled at Illinois Fire & safety in Addison. They told me it would be $90 per tank to recertify. That sounded too high and found range of $10-20 seems to be common on here. Anyone know a better place to get...

    UK & Ireland Recommendations

Thanks for the advice! Just got back from the trip. Tried Guilford Arms & Jeremiahs. Jeremiahs was right by where I was staying so that worked out great and Guilford was great. Loved the pub itself along with the beer. Didn't see much local at either. Was told there was a big event that was...

    UK & Ireland Recommendations

I am going to be in UK & Ireland in October. I have never been and was hoping to get some recommendations on beers and pubs to try while over there. Figured a couple of you would have some good insight. Interested in all types of beer and possibly some ciders if there are any particular...

    Weird Smell in Chest Freezer

I dont think it is the Co2. I have accidently blasted myself a couple times and have had a leak before and it didnt smell like that. But the smell getting stronger would make sense if it was CO2. I just started force carbing one of the kegs at 40 psi. I normally carb much lower or prime them...

    Weird Smell in Chest Freezer

Wasn't sure if this was the right place to post, but anyways: I have a chest freezer that I am using as lagering chamber/beer fridge. Right now there is a weird smell. It is a sweet fake vanilla smell that burns my nose a little. Reminds me a little of super cheap vanilla vodka. I first...
