Yeah, we sometimes watch TV while brewing, but that's not the issue. It's the weekends where we go to both the NFL and NCAA games in the area and tailgate that take time away from brewing.
I always love when football season gets here because it means I get to enjoy the beer I've brewed and take a more relaxing approach to my typical one brew every two weeks schedule.
That said, I'm really glad that football season is winding down. It's so hard to get help during the season...
Does anyone know if these will fit in typical carboys? It says 2.5"long without a width posted. Most carboys being around an inch wide at the top, it sounds like it is cutting it close.
Just finished mine. I did a collar of 2x6's around the top and then oak .75x11 on the outside of 3 sides for the chalkboard finish. It's not the prettiest thing in the world but it serves beer and I love it for that.
Yep. I bought everything at keg connection. Got their 4 tap fridge system with only 3 taps. Dual primary reg and 3 way distributor. That gives me the ability to serve 3 beers at 2 different pressures or 3 at the same pressure and the ability to force carb on the fourth.
Yeah, I was wondering why no one did this. I mean, when they fill growlers at a store, they don't use counterpressure or chill the bottles.
