    Pale Lager Recipe

Where did you ever end up with this recipe? I am looking to brew something like Shift also!

    HUGE 65 gallon BIAB

Any chance you have a link for $30-35 one? I have been thinking about picking one up. I had switched my set-up to Natural Gas, but had to go back to Propane as it was taking forever...

    HUGE 65 gallon BIAB

Do you dump trub out of the Boil Kettle? Or just chill to temps and pitch the yeast? I haven't read up on it much, but with a lot of the German styles they are open fermented, wonder if going to that length to seal up the Boil Kettle/Fermenter is needed. Also, since C02 is heavier than air...

BIAB brew stand with hoist and pump

Any updates on these stands? Starting to lay out the parts I need for mine. I am looking at using the 102 Qt. for pot so that I can do minimum of 12G batches.

Upright Keezer, 8 taps, 11 kegs

Here is a pic of mine. I used threaded inserts in the wooden blocks I made to attach it to the door. It than rests on top of the block with set screws threaded into the wooden blocks and wrung butts for easy cleaning/removal.

    Gabf 2013

Well, I was able to score tickets to all 3 sessions for the 3rd year in a row. Guess that luck was just on my side. I did have the problem like most where my ID wouldn't work for the Members Only session, but thankfully it started working. I did buy tickets for my friend for that session too...

Bud Tries to Take Over the World

Agreed, I spent the majority of the last two years over there and brands like Qingtao, Tiger and Carlsberg already have/had great market share. China loves anything American and if I had the money would start up a micro brewery there in a heart beat. Amazing where you could find Brooklyn beers...

Autumn Seasonal Beer Thunderstruck Pumpkin Ale (AG and Extract versions)

Got a jump on my pumpkin beer for the season, just put 12G in the fermenter! Had a slow mash, I will probably do a partial mash of sorts next time with the Pumpkin in the boil kettle... Ben

    lets see your full Fermenters

How about over full? Always kick myself for not using blow off tubes, now will definitely... This is a 12G batch of a Dunkel.

    Kickstarter temp controller

Here is something that is already out there that somebody with a bit of ingenuity could modify to work. The HeaterMeter is a Wifi Enabled Temp. Controller for smokers. The temp probe triggers a fan to run at desired temperature set point. Instead of triggering the fan, it could just as easily...

Plastic 1/6 bbl pub kegs- anyone tried em?

Another thing to note, if the keg is full the "explosion" is nothing more than a strong leak. If you were to hit it with just air/CO2 pressure than you will have issues. Hence why tanks get a "hydro" test, much safer if there were problems. Ben
