What happened to your old fermentation bucket?

I replace my buckets after a handful of brews. The cycle goes like this: fermentation->catching grain->cleaning bucket->outside for yard work etc. A couple have also found their way to being re-purposed for grain storage.

Laugh now laugh later wasnt that bad, but they are both leaps and bounds better than Ignorance is Bliss. There was a collection called Shoot the Moon that is pretty fantastic.

    Niagra falls

We're heading to Niagara Falls from Ohio this weekend. is there anything regional and worth seeking out around there? We're camping and it would be great to sit around the campfire with a couple good new brews.

I've been there a few times, but don't get there too often. I buy their beer fairly regularly though. I have a bunch of their goat series in my basement aging.

    Not my weekend for yeast

I knew it just got too humid, never even thought to try to use it anyway. Normally I could have gone to my LHBS, but I was too busy.

    Not my weekend for yeast

Last wednesday I pulled out my DME to make my starter for the weekend and it was rock hard. It had been a couple months since my last brew day, so while disappointed I wasnt too surprised. I've pitched the vial of white labs straight into the fermentor in the past with little trouble, so I...

Ive been reading HBT for a while, thought its about time to start participating. I was mildly active on the NB board a few years back, but lately it seems as if the experienced brewers arent around as much anymore.
