So this happened. Had my finished beer in a 5 gallon brewtech fermenter. Transferring to keg and it stopped. Lid clasps were unhooked but there must have been enough vacuum and still tight enough to stop flow. Broke the suction seal on lid and she started flowing again. But I didnt notice...
Great story! And memory. Did you stash any for me and save them for 10 yrs just for this occasion? Keep reading about then in homebrew articles and sites. Are they as good as they are touted to be?

Lazy and dont want to read entire thread, so possible duplicate answer. I use gelatin with pretty good success racking to fermenter. I bet combination of clarifiers in endo of boild + gelatin would make for some clear beer:

Mystery solved! When I opened the fermenter all the kreusen and hop gunk was settled except a big glob on the Tilt's top. Essentially weighing it down a lot.
Hydro reading = 1.009
No [intentional] sport being had. Thats nthe reading. I ould see Tilt being off, it usually is a little. But the ferment was agreesive and changes in reading daily were pretty fast. I will try and take a manula reading tomorrow and report back. MAybe spome top foam has the the tilt pushed...
